Chest — measure around the fullest part, under the arms, keeping the tape level.
Body length — from the highest shoulder point straight down to the hem.
Shoulder — from one shoulder seam across the back to the other.
Sleeve length — from the shoulder point along the arm to the wrist.

The turtle neck is sleek and elegant, a winter tailoring essential. This women’s Tencel silk turtleneck sweater (in the UK, a Tencel silk roll neck or polo neck jumper) is knitted in 90% Tencel and 10% mulberry silk at 16 gauge, a finer and lighter knit in a smooth plain knit, with a regular fit, shown here in Cream White. Wear it under a coat or on its own with a skirt or trousers.

Standard sizes run from XS to 5XL. Start from the size closest to you, then fine-tune body length, sleeve length, chest and other measurements in our Create My Sweater configurator. That makes this a made-to-measure option if you are petite or tall, or wear a plus size, and find ready-made turtleneck sweaters too short, too long or too tight. Yarn, colour and knit

Our Tencel and mulberry silk blend is breathable, fluid and lightweight, ideal for spring and summer, and it comes in 15 colours in the configurator. You can also change the gauge (3, 7, 12 or 16gg), the knit pattern and the fit (regular or slim). Screens show colour slightly differently, so ask us for the physical colour card if you need an exact shade.

Knitted to order at 16 gauge in a smooth plain knit, with a high turtle neck. Each piece is made individually to your size and measurements.

How should I wash my Tencel silk sweater?

Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent suitable for silk, or use the delicate cycle inside a mesh bag. Never wring — gently press out excess water.

How do I dry and store it?

Reshape while damp and lay flat to dry, away from direct heat or sunlight. Once fully dry, fold and store — avoid hanging, which can stretch the shoulders. Keep with cedar or lavender to deter moths.

How do I deal with pilling?

Tencel and silk are smooth, low-pilling fibres. If a few pills appear in high-friction areas, remove them gently with a fabric shaver.

Can I iron or steam it?

Do not iron directly. If needed, steam lightly or press under a cloth on a low (silk) setting.
