Quality control
Each piece is checked at 14 points of measure against the agreed size chart: within ±1–2 cm (⅜–¾ in) at 12gg and 16gg, ±2–3 cm (¾–1¼ in) at 7gg and 3gg. Anything outside tolerance is reworked or remade before it ships.
Testing & audits
BSCI and Sedex audited. Cashmere yarn tested by SGS; finished sweaters passed a 2025 official spot check by the Suzhou Fibre Inspection Institute. Reports available on request.

Before you place a first order.
One piece, for wholesale and private label alike, in any of our 194 stock colours. Custom trims have their own minimums: 500 per item, 1,000 for polybags. Below that we use neutral labels with no brand name, and the labels you order are stored for later orders. Gift boxes are quoted separately, or you can have your own packaging delivered to our factory and we'll pack in it.
Yes. Every piece is made to order, so you can mix styles, colours and sizes freely.
Grade A 100% cashmere, with fibres 14.5–15 microns fine and 34–38 mm long. Yarn test reports are available on request.
A sample is simply a 1-piece order: same steps, same 2–3 week lead time, quoted like any other order.
2–3 weeks once the order is confirmed. Orders above our capacity of 100 pieces a day are scheduled with you by email. Allow extra time around Chinese public holidays such as Chinese New Year and Golden Week in early October.
Yes. Reorders start at 1 piece too, using your agreed size chart and colour codes.
Orders to the US ship DDP by FedEx or UPS, with duties and taxes included. Larger orders can go by air or sea freight. We also ship DDP to the UK, EU, Canada, Australia and Mexico, and FOB with your own forwarder is possible.

mitony.com shows retail prices for private clients. Trade buyers get factory prices from our tiered price list, and the price per piece drops at each quantity tier. Our margins are small, so those tiers are the discount: there's no large markup held back to negotiate.
Yes, by embroidery or knitted in as jacquard or intarsia. We don't print on knitwear.
Before dispatch we can send photos of each finished piece laid flat beside a tape measure for your approval. If the yarn, pattern or knitting is wrong, or a measurement falls outside the agreed tolerance, we remake the piece free of charge or refund it in full.
